These Terms of Use (“Terms”) govern the use of the NoteBible app (“Service”). By creating an account or using the app, you agree to these Terms and to our Privacy Policy.

1. The Service

NoteBible is an app for recording and organizing spiritual moments: recording and transcribing sermons and prayers, organizing notes with artificial intelligence, daily devotionals, reminders and sync across devices. Features may be added, changed or discontinued at any time, always seeking to preserve your content.

2. Account

• The app can be used without an account. An account (via Apple, Google or email) enables backup and sync.
• You are responsible for keeping access to your sign-in method and for the activity carried out on your account.
• You must be at least 13 years old to use the Service.

3. Subscriptions and payments

• Some features are part of the paid plan NoteBible Complete, offered as an auto-renewing subscription processed by the App Store (Apple).
• When offered, a free trial converts automatically into a paid subscription at its end, unless cancelled at least 24 hours in advance.
• Cancellation is done in your Apple ID subscription settings and takes effect at the end of the period already paid. Amounts paid are not refundable by us; refund requests are handled directly by Apple, under Apple’s policies.
• Prices may change; changes apply only to future periods and are announced in advance.

4. Your content

• Your notes are yours. You keep all rights over the content you create in the app.
• You grant us a limited license to store, process and transmit that content exclusively to operate the Service (for example: transcribing an audio you recorded, syncing across your devices).
• When you delete a note or your account, that license ends and the data is removed as described in the Privacy Policy.

5. Acceptable use

You agree not to use the Service for unlawful activities, to violate third-party rights (including recording people without authorization where required by law), to attempt to access other users’ data, or to compromise the security and operation of the platform.

6. AI-generated content

• Transcriptions, summaries, organized versions and chat answers are generated by artificial intelligence and may contain errors or inaccuracies. The original text of your notes is never replaced.
• Devotionals and other in-app content are devotional and informational in nature. They do not replace pastoral, psychological, medical or professional counsel of any kind.

7. Intellectual property

The app, the NoteBible brand, its design and the content created by us are protected by intellectual property rights and may not be copied, modified or distributed without authorization. Bible texts used follow the licenses of their respective translations.

8. Termination

You may stop using the Service and delete your account at any time in the app. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms, with notice when possible.

9. Disclaimers and limitation of liability

The Service is provided “as is”. We work to keep it available and secure, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation. To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total liability for any damages related to the Service is limited to the amount you paid in the 12 months preceding the event. Nothing in these Terms excludes rights guaranteed to you by applicable consumer protection law.

10. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. The date at the top indicates the current version and relevant changes will be communicated in the app. Continued use of the Service after an update constitutes acceptance.

11. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Federative Republic of Brazil, without prejudice to mandatory consumer protections of your place of residence.
